About the Clinic

The place where life is born - more than three decades of caring for women and families.

Our development began in 1994 as a practice dedicated to gynecology, adolescent gynecology, counseling on family planning and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases. Just a few years later, in 1997, we started treating sterility, first in cooperation with renowned foreign centers, and soon with our own capacities.

We made a big step forward in 2003 when we were among the first in Serbia to introduce 3D/4D ultrasound technology, improving the diagnosis of fetal anomalies and setting new standards in IVF procedures. In the same year, we become a Polyclinic, opening the door to a multidisciplinary team and additional branches of medicine.

Finally, in 2008, we found the Special Hospital for Gynecology "Perinatal", with a complete legally defined content and its own IVF laboratory, thus becoming one of the leading centers for in vitro fertilization in the region.

All our experts undergo continuous education in the world's leading centers, so that we are always in step with the latest methods and technologies.

Our doctors are active participants in national and international congresses, including ISUOG (International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology) and ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology). We also organize educational activities for young people and women of all ages, with the aim of disease prevention and health preservation.

Perinatal continues to grow and expand its range of services, introducing modern technologies, developing educational programs and providing support to young doctors.

The founder and longtime head of the professional team, Dr. Gordana Kozarov (1958–2021), left an indelible mark on the medical community. Her vision and commitment to women and family continue to inspire and guide us in our daily work.
