A woman who dedicated her life to women

Mr. Sci. med. dr Gordana Kozarov was much more than a doctor. She was a leader, educator, pioneer and role model. Her vision of the Perinatal Clinic as a place where every woman receives the attention and care she deserves continues to guide us every step of the way.

Professional path and contribution to medicine

Born in 1958 in Croatia, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zagreb in 1983.

She completed her specialization in gynecology and obstetrics in 1991, in the same year she also completed postgraduate studies in perinatology and neonatology.

She obtained her master’s degree in 1995 in Novi Sad on the topic of pubertal development and menstrual cycle disorders.

She dedicated her career to gynecology, adolescent medicine and the treatment of sterility, as well as prevention and modern diagnostics.

Establishment of the Perinatal Clinic

In 1994, she founded the private gynecological practice "Perinatal", which grew into a polyclinic in 1999, and a special hospital was opened in 2008.

Under her leadership, Perinatal became synonymous with reliable, professional and warm health care for women of all ages.

Scientific work and training

Dr. Kozarov actively participated in numerous international congresses and educations around the world. She was a member of ESHRE and a recognized lecturer and practitioner in the fields of:

Many young doctors and nurses went through Perinatal as part of her team. With her knowledge, but also her human approach, Dr. Gordana Kozarov was a pillar and role model for many.
